Get answers to common questions about Chin / Lower Waxing.
Results generally last three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles, hormones, and aftercare. With regular waxing, regrowth becomes finer and lighter. Schedule appointments every 4–6 weeks for consistent smoothness.
Ensure hair is at least a quarter inch long; avoid exfoliating or sun exposure 24-48 hours prior. Cleanse the area, avoid topical retinoids for several days, and inform your technician about medications or sensitivities.
Waxing can temporarily irritate skin and sometimes lead to ingrown hairs. Proper exfoliation, moisturization, and technician technique reduce risk. Use gentle scrubs or chemical exfoliants after healing, and avoid tight clothing or picking to prevent bumps.
Yes; we offer gentle waxes and hypoallergenic aftercare for sensitive skin. Tell your technician about allergies or medications. A patch test can be performed to ensure comfort and reduce risk before a full chin waxing session.
Ideally hairs should be about a quarter inch long (approximately 4–6 millimeters) so the wax can grip properly. If hairs are too short we may ask you to wait, too long and trimming may be recommended.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy sweating, and makeup on the area for 24 hours. Apply soothing aloe or provided calming lotion, exfoliate gently after 48–72 hours, and use SPF to protect newly exposed skin.
